Northern Vermont Llama Co & Christmas Tree Farm is a small family farm on 35 acres. The farm was purchased in 1983, Christmas trees were first planted in 1984, and the first llamas arrived in 1986.
In order for a small farm to survive, diversity is key. We sell between 500 - 800 Christmas trees a year. Our breeding herd of 15 llamas produce 5-10 crias a year, 9 male llamas are trained packers for our llama trekking business, and our 5 miniature donkeys produce 1-4 foals a year. Our apple orchard provides hot cider for our tree season and cold cider for the llama treks.
